The Westward Ho is just north of downtown Phoenix. The hotel is the city’s original ‘tall’ building and has a radio-tower mounted on its top. Back when technology was everyone’s friend, the antenna was not considered an eye-sore. Now we insist they be disguised like trees, which look weird here because they are not patterned after the local fauna. Strange on a lot of levels?

I LOVE THIS PIC!!! this is where I live
@the elderly: We have a series of pictures of your home coming up over the next seven days or so! I hope you enjoy them. I’m so glad you liked this one!
who knew Phoenix had such classic architecture. Other than the Big West Blue Sky, I could be looking at Chicago. Is this building from the 30’s -40’s? It’s nice to learn a bit more about your city. My only experience of AZ is Lake Havasu, where the inlaws live.
Right on! - I heard their havent been any Ho’s there since the 70’s?
