I bought a sundial in brass and mounted it or had a place to mount it but then could not figure out how to set the time. So, the last time I saw it was in my shop stuck under something.
This old man’s post brought tears on this Veteran’s Day but not because I am a Korean War era veteran.

Beautiful. Love the detail of the dial face. Love the falling shadow. Love the presence of the red leaf, which gives the scene a deeper grace. I love sundials!
