Rosita's Place

I grew up with this food. It really is home cooked Mexican food, like the sign says. Grandma’s recipes. My family has been eating here ever since I can remember, through a location change from Buckeye road to this location at McDowell Road. We’ve weathered the times when someone tried to change the recipes, and seen them change back. We’ve seen this location develop from a complete hole in the wall to having beautiful painted murals on the exterior, nice heavy tables and chairs imported from Mexico, and inviting decor inside. Through all that, though, the two original waitresses still work there, along with a smattering of newer ones. The food tastes the same as it did when I was a kid, and it’s incredibly delicious. North side of McDowell road, just west of 24th Street.

I love this place! It used to be one of my dad’s favorite places. Hope all is well!

I could eat Mexican food every day. Mind you, I could also eat Indian food every day too. And Polish food.

SO MANY CHOICES SO LITTLE TIME!
