The area of town I live in used to be full of old ranch-style homes like this one. Many of them are being torn down for high-rise condos, but I enjoy seeing the few holdouts.

I wonder if that will ever happen here? It seems like a better use of space than sprawling ranch style houses. I like our house and would sure hate to give it up. But it sounds like progress.
