The dome opens and can be rotated to look at different areas of the sky, and the telescope &lt;a href="http://phoenixdailyphoto.com/pluto-telescope/" rel="nofollow"&gt;pictured yesterday&lt;/a&gt; is what's inside . It's an old-school reflector telescope, but instead of an eyepiece to look through there's a photographic plate attached to the back.</description>
