203 W. Adams St. Phoenix. Our last bastion of vaudeville, eventually giving way to moving pictures and hosting silent films with live accompaniment on the pipe organ. You can still experience classic silent films with live pipe organ accompaniment during "Silent Film Sundays." The Orpheum is also home to great shows and concerts appropriate to a small venue. I’m so happy that Phoenix came up with the money to restore and preserve this site.
I really agree. These old movie palaces SHOULD be preserved.
Having been to Phoenix many times, i’m surprised i’ve never noticed this theatre.
