Wonderful shot with a good sense of scale. I’ve seen Meteor Crater a couple of times from the air but have not visited on the ground. I’m reading Bill Bryson’s fascinating “A Short History of Nearly Everything,” which gives a detailed and frightening description of what would happen if such a meteor struck Earth today. You definitely don’t want to be in the neighborhood.
