As the sign says, “put a little South in your mouth.” This place has the best barbecue I’ve ever had, and they also have delicious catfish and apricot cobbler. Mmm mmm. Unrelated but interesting tidbit - my CB “handle” is “Honey Bear.”

Very nice.
Question: What’s cobbler? : +
Cobbler is sort of like pie, except that the pastry dough is used more as a topping rather than a containing shell. But it’s baked, and often served hot like a dessert pie, even a la mode. This recipe and photo appears similar to the variety found at Honey Bear’s BBQ. And evidently cobbler can actually be sweet or savory, and is not unheard of in the U.K.
Best BBQ in Phoenix, hands down. I usuaully frequent the one on Van Buren east of 48th. We had our weeding catered from them (celebrated in a park in the desert).
I see the construction is still going on on Central. While this is good BBQ you have to try Haps BBQ on 52nd St and Washington. Hope all is well.
What’s with the drunken unibrow bear? Great slogan.
Indeed, a cobbler is quite famous in the UK
