Copper Star Coffee: Fill 'Er Up

Copper Star Coffee is located in a building that was formerly a filling/service station. They preserved the antique pumps to create a drive-thru area. You pull up, they serve, and you get delicious, locally roasted coffee, less expensive than a Starbucks. My new favorite fill-er-up station.

Well, what a clever idea this turned out to be. I wonder. Here we got a similar place where the pharmacy used to be. Totally rebuilt inside though.

I can smell the coffee from here. This is so romantically American to little old me. Just love those antique pumps.

It is pretty romantically American - we’ve had a long romance with the horseless carriage, and the passion is still strong. I hope there are a lot more places like this in the future because we get to a point where we no longer need gas stations. But that’s out of sight for now.
