Neva, I think you’re right - it is hard to navigate this site.

I initially chose this layout because of its emphasis on the photos. One photo gets center stage each day and everything else is minimal. I thought it would be good because I thought most visitors would come see the daily photo and then leave. But the daily photo crowd likes to comment!

You can navigate to past photos by clicking the small “Older Entries” link under the photo on the home page, or by clicking the Archives link at the top of the page and choosing from the photo thumbnail images. Once you’re viewing an individual entry, the previous and next entries are displayed as small links above each photo. Then there’s the Map page which allows you to navigate through the photos by the location where they were taken. Clicking the title or comments link for any photo takes you to it’s “permalink” where you can leave comments.

I will probably stick with this layout a little while longer due to restrictions on my time right now. But eventually I will probably have to change to something less confusing and more friendly. I sure appreciate your feedback! Thank you!

Yours is the second or third blog I have seen set up this way…hard to navigate it…or I need a lesson on how to use this type of blog!….love the 2 pictures I could see.

It is a small world. I take a look at the list looking for Chicago and instead I find my parents small town, Inverness. Then I take a look and the picture is of the golf club across the street from where my parents live and where I will be playing golf with my Dad on Monday. Cool.
