These weeds dry out and turn into horrible burrs that are the bane of dogs and dog lovers everywhere. Any animal lovers, actually. The darn things grab onto anything furry. And they’re not nice to bare feet either.

Hi Cheryl. We have those terrible burrs here in Texas, too. I have to pull them out of my poodles fur after every walk we take! He might pick up as many as 10 of them at a time!

I used to have a wire-haired Daschund who was so low to the ground, I was always finding bumble bees stuck to his coat – most usually after he’d been stung!
We have those weeds in NM and after stepping on and imbedding a burr in my big toe, the toe & ball of the boot became inflamed & hard. This is the fouth day and no relief. Any help out there?
