Cheryl Colan (that’s me) started PhoenixDailyPhoto on August 13, 2007, because Fotografia Phoenix was set to go offline permanently, the photographer moving to Santa Fe, New Mexico. I couldn’t keep up with taking daily photos around the holidays, and am just beginning to resurrect the web site in February 2008.
I realize I don’t have it in me right now to shoot photos every single day. So I have asked other Phoenix photographers for assistance. Right now I’m getting help from my husband Gary Colan, and his new Nikon camera. And also from Donna Gaudet, a friend and fellow faculty member at Scottsdale Community College.
